Parker, David
(years of service:1987 - 1989)

Mr. Parker, a professional forester, was born in July, 1940 in Halifax. He has resided in B.C. since 1959 and is married (Dawne) with two children: Jennifer and Mike.

He entered politics at the School Board level, serving Golden as a School Trustee from 1981-1983 and Terrace from 1985 - 1987. Mr. Parker was elected to the British Columbia Legislature as MLA for Skeena in October, ‘1986.

He serve[d] as Minister of Forests and Lands and Minister of State for the North Coast Region. He is also a member of the Cabinet Committees on Economic Development, Environment and Land Use, and Native Affairs.
