First Interior Nursery and Plantation

In 1947, the Forest Service decided to look into the possibility of a reforestation program in the interior of B.C. In the 1948 Forest Service Annual Report, the Reforestation Division wrote: “The most important development of the year was the selection of a site near Elko for a forest nursery in the yellow pine region of the southern interior.” To view this theme paper, please click on the document link.
